Derrick Jones
Report: Jones Jr. (knee) out at least 6 weeks
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 1:18 PM
Law Murray
Law Murray of The Athletic reports that Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) will miss at least six weeks.
Analysis: Jones has suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee on two occasions this season, with both occurring in games against the Celtics. His most recent injury occurred during Saturday's loss at home, as Celtics guard Payton Pritchard landed on Jones' leg while diving for a loose ball. Jones has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 sprain and will miss at least six weeks before being re-evaluated. John Collins will continue to start at power forward, and there may be additional minutes available to Kobe Sanders and Kobe Brown.

Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) to be re-evaluated Sunday

Law Murray
Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) will be re-evaluated on Sunday.
Analysis: Jones injured his right knee during the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss to the Celtics when Payton Pritchard landed on his leg while attempting to reel in a loose ball. Jones eventually limped back to the locker room after being helped off the floor, but he was still seen struggling to put weight on his right leg after the game. This is the same knee that he injured during a November 16 game in Boston, with the sprained right MCL sidelining him for nearly six weeks.
James Harden
Harden tallies 18 points, 12 assists in defeat
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 7:06 PM
James Harden amassed 18 points (7-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, 12 assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Saturday's blowout loss to the Celtics.
Analysis: Harden has tormented the Celtics over the years, but he was unable to get anything going in this one as Boston threw a combination of strong defenders at him including Derrick White, Jared Walsh and rookie standout Hugo González. The 36-year-old veteran point guard was held to less than 20 points for the first time in six games as Los Angeles' extended win streak came to an unceremonious end. The Clippers have four games on tap next week including matchups against the Warriors, Knicks, Nets and Pistons.
Kawhi Leonard
Celtics limit Leonard to just 22 points in blowout
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 6:58 PM
Kawhi Leonard accumulated 22 points (6-of-17 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block over 34 minutes during Saturday's loss to the Celtics.
Analysis: Leonard had his hands full with Boston's plethora of strong wing defenders as Jaylen Brown and company took turns making things challenging for the veteran superstar, who shot just 35 percent from the floor, including 2-of-8 from beyond the arc. He still managed to turn in a respectable effort from a fantasy standpoint with a handful of rebounds, assists and steals in a one-sided affair that snapped a six-game winning streak for Los Angeles.
Ivica Zubac
Zubac notches four points, seven boards in return
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 6:54 PM
Ivica Zubac contributed four points (2-of-6 FGs), seven rebounds, one assist and one block over 20 minutes off the bench during Saturday's loss to the Celtics.
Analysis: Zubac failed to make a significant impact, despite logging 20 minutes in his return from a five-game absence due to a sprained ankle that he suffered back on December 20. The 28-year-old big man was unable to exploit Boston's lack of strong interior defense, attempting just six shots in a one-sided affair. Fantasy managers should anticipate the Clippers keeping a governor on his workload for at least a couple additional contests as he works his way back to full strength.
Ivica Zubac
Ivica Zubac (ankle) to come off the bench Saturday
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 2:59 PM
Joey Linn
Ivica Zubac (ankle) will come off the bench in Saturday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: Zubac has returned from a sprained ankle sooner than expected, as he suffered a Grade 2 sprain during a December 20 win over the Lakers. However, according to Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue, the 7-footer volunteered to come off the bench since the team has been playing well in his absence. Brook Lopez will remain in the starting lineup for at least one more night.
Ivica Zubac
Shams: Ivica Zubac (ankle) to return Saturday
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 1:51 PM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Ivica Zubac (ankle) will be available for Saturday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: Sidelined since injuring his ankle during a December 20 win over the Lakers, Zubac will be available on Saturday. Brook Lopez has filled in admirably as his replacement in the lineup, providing a different look offensively with his three-point shooting. With Zubac back, Yanic Konan Niederhäuser will likely fall out of the rotation entirely.
Nicolas Batum
Nicolas Batum hits four threes in win over Jazz
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 7:35 PM
Nicolas Batum added 14 points (4-of-6 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal and four three-pointers in the win over the Jazz on Thursday.
Analysis: Batum tallied a season-high in points and three-pointers on Thursday to help the Clippers win their sixth straight game. The veteran forward has mostly become a spot-up three-point shooter at this stage of his career and continues to shoot them efficiently. He likely won't add much fantasy value if his three-point shot isn't dropping on high volume, but he'll likely be available as a streaming option in fantasy leagues for those in dire need of three-point production.
James Harden
James Harden has 20 points, seven assists vs. Jazz
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 7:22 PM
James Harden finished Thursday's win over the Jazz with 20 points (5-of-14 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists and one three-pointer.
Analysis: Harden logged a solid performance in his 29 minutes on Thursday, leading the Clippers in assists and finishing as one of two players to score at least 20 points. Harden was one of four starters not to log any fourth-quarter minutes, as Kawhi Leonard's 20-point takeover in the final frame allowed the Clippers to open up a big lead and rest several key players. With the additional rest, fantasy managers will hope Harden can land a big performance on Saturday against the Celtics.
Kawhi Leonard
Kawhi Leonard tallies 45 points in win over Jazz
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 7:12 PM
Kawhi Leonard added 45 points (16-of-29 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and six three-pointers in the win over the Jazz on Thursday.
Analysis: Leonard's dominance continued on Thursday, recording his third straight game with at least 30 points, and his third time scoring 40 points or more over his last five appearances. A season-high six three-pointers keyed his success against Utah, as he hit four in the fourth quarter en route to tallying 20 points in the final frame. Leonard, a two-time Defensive Player of the Year Award winner, also combined for four stocks before checking out for the final time. He remains one of the hottest players in the league and will have a chance to continue his dominance on Saturday against the Celtics.
Ivica Zubac
Ivica Zubac (ankle) progresses to on-court work
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 3:25 PM
Justin Russo
Ivica Zubac (ankle) has progressed to on-court work.
Analysis: Zubac injured his ankle during a December 20 win over the Lakers and was given a three-week timeline to return. For him to progress to on-court work is a step in the right direction, but the timeline has not changed. Brook Lopez will remain the starter in Zubac's absence, with Yanic Konan Niederhäuser filling in as the backup.
Bogdan Bogdanovic
Bogdan Bogdanovi? (hamstring) out for homestand
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 3:22 PM
Justin Russo
Bogdan Bogdanovi? (hamstring) will sit out the final three games of the Clippers' current homestand.
Analysis: While left hip tightness forced an early exit from the Clippers' December 26 win in Portland, Bogdanovi? has missed the first three games of the team's five-game homestand due to left hamstring injury management. Not only will he miss the final two games, but there's no guarantee that he'll be available when the Clippers hit the road on January 7 against the Knicks. According to the team, Bogdanovi? is “undergoing a process to address the residual weakness in the left hamstring hip area.”
James Harden
James Harden records 21 points, five assists
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 7:47 PM
James Harden tallied 21 points (6-of-14 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Tuesday's win over the Kings.
Analysis: The Clippers did not require much from Harden on Tuesday, as they were never challenged in the 131-90 victory. As a result, his stat line was modest in comparison to what fantasy managers have grown accustomed to. The good news for Harden managers, especially those competing in nine-cat formats, is that he did not commit a turnover, the first time that has happened this season. The Clippers end Week 11 with home games against the Jazz and Celtics on Thursday and Saturday.
John Collins
John Collins posts 16 points, three blocks Tuesday
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 7:46 PM
John Collins accounted for 16 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, three blocks and two three-pointers in Tuesday's win over the Kings.
Analysis: Collins returned to the Clippers' lineup on Tuesday after missing Sunday's win over the Pistons with an illness. And he continues to perform well, providing third-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. Tuesday's game was the second for Derrick Jones Jr. (8/1/3/2/1 with one three-pointer) since returning from a knee injury, and he played 20 minutes off the bench to Collins' 22. Tuesday's blowout affected the minutes split, but fantasy managers should watch for it when the Clippers face more formidable opponents.
Kawhi Leonard
Kawhi Leonard scores game-high 33 points vs. SAC
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 7:46 PM
Kawhi Leonard finished Tuesday's win over the Kings with 33 points (11-of-19 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, three steals, one block and five three-pointers.
Analysis: Two days removed from scoring a career-high 55 points, Leonard had 30 points through the first three quarters on Tuesday. Unlike the Pistons, the Kings offered little resistance to the Clippers throughout the 131-90 defeat, so Kawhi's night was done with just over seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Over the past week, he has been the most valuable player in fantasy basketball, and Leonard is a top-five player for the season.
John Collins
John Collins (illness) available, starting vs. SAC
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 3:24 PM
Tomer Azarly
John Collins (illness) is available to play against the Kings on Tuesday.
Analysis: Collins will be back after a one-game absence and will immediately slot back into the starting lineup. Nicolas Batum started in his place against Detroit on Sunday but will return to a reserve role, eliminating the streaming value he held.
John Collins
John Collins (illness) questionable Tuesday
Mon, Dec 29, 2025, 2:08 PM
NBA Injury Report
John Collins (illness) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Kings.
Analysis: Collins did not play in Sunday's win over the Pistons, with Nicolas Batum replacing him in the starting lineup. That will likely remain the case if Collins can't play on Tuesday, even with Derrick Jones Jr. making his return from a knee injury on Sunday.
Derrick Jones
Derrick Jones Jr. plays 18 minutes in return
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 5:36 PM
Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) tallied three points (1-of-4 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs) and three rebounds in Sunday's win over the Pistons.
Analysis: Sunday's game was the first for Jones since November 16, as a sprained right MCL sidelined him. “Airplane Mode” was under a minutes restriction and John Collins (illness) was unavailable, so there isn't too much to learn from Sunday's game regarding how the power forward minutes will be divided in the future. Nicolas Batum (12/4/1/1 with four three-pointers) filled in for Collins and played 31 minutes against the Pistons. A lot more will be learned about the Clippers' power forward rotation if Collins is available on Tuesday against the Kings.
James Harden
James Harden drops 28 points, seven assists
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 5:35 PM
James Harden amassed 28 points (7-of-23 FGs, 11-of-11 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists and three three-pointers in Sunday's win over the Pistons.
Analysis: Harden didn't have his best night shooting the basketball, but that can happen when the ball is in your hands at the end of the shot clock consistently. He kept the turnovers in check, committing three, and The Beard was perfect at the foul line. Over the past two weeks, Harden has only been a fourth-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats, thanks to his shooting 40.5 percent from the field. He'll look to clean that up during a three-game Week 11 that begins on Tuesday against the Kings.
Kawhi Leonard
Kawhi Leonard ties franchise record with 55 points
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 5:35 PM
Justin Russo
Kawhi Leonard finished Sunday's win over the Pistons with 55 points (17-of-26 FGs, 16-of-17 FTs), 11 rebounds, two assists, five steals, three blocks and five three-pointers.
Analysis: Let's get the negative out of the way right now: Leonard's streak of made free throws ended at 64 on Sunday. That was the only negative for the Clippers star, who enjoyed a historic night at the Pistons' expense. Leonard tied the Clippers' franchise single-game scoring record (James Harden set the original mark), and he joined Anthony Davis as the only players in league history to record at least 50 points, five steals and three blocks in a single game. Third quarters have been an issue for most of this season, but Kawhi solved that by scoring 26 of the Clippers' 32 points in the frame (Detroit managed 27 points). The Clippers play three games in Week 11, starting with the Kings on Tuesday.
